My wife, jane and I started Tortilla Modern Mexican back in September 2012 armed with nothing but a love for mexican food, a shoe-string budget and a goal to change the way South African’s think about fast food.

Each meal served at Tortilla is prepared daily using a combination of the freshest ingredients, classical cooking techniques and slow cooking times. All our ingredients are delivered to our restaurant and everything is chopped, seasoned and prepped right in front of you!
